There is no mark, what you are seeing is the indent below the right eye socket. The light happened to hit the green toning in that area and cause that effect.

Here is a closeup of that area "macro" not trying to get the color of the coin.

Another image of a darker coin which is a 1914 graded by PCGS shows this indent area on Matte Proofs with the most detail I have observed on a MPL cent.

I've never seen this coin in hand, but knowing how to read Brian's photos, this coin looks to be "all there". A splendid PQ example.
