When does the submission 'clock' start?

Curious - I sent a sub that got logged 11/19, and it was for a 10 day crossover. I assume 11/26 and 11/27 are excluded for Thanksgiving, but would today be day 10 or Monday? I've always done specials, so not clear when the ticking starts.
And is it a good or bad sign that they are taking the full time? Submitted and sgc 98 with a min grade of 10...fat chance i know, but nice payoff if it comes through.
As always - the insight of the board's collective experience is appreciated.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

  • Starts next working day. So the log in date does not count. Doesn't matter anyways because there is no guarantee anymore. So they could take 20 days and there is nothing you can do about it. Mine logged in the same day as yours. 5 cards for review on the 10 day and 57 cards under the 45 day.
At least they got logged in. That's my nightmare when they sit at the post office.

i sent something 2 day express on 11/21 and it was just logged yesterday.. i had a voucher so went for the 5 day express cross over special. I was getting worried that it wasn't logged for so long.. now i guess i should expect it to pop by next friday.. we'll see though.. i still have 6 autos waiting from the oct auto special.
