<< <i>I have never seen that before but looks like a printing error similar to the 86 Topps team leaders. >>
What are the Team Leader errors?
In my opinion, it looks like a printing variety. 1986 Topps had a lot, Roger Clemens, Tom Seaver and Johnny Grubb are the more famous and collected examples, but many, many minor ones like this (and the Carlton Fisk of similar nature) also exist. A weird year for quality control for sure.
The only known variation on the team leaders is the Indians leaders that has the broken M in TEAM on back. I think the correction is the harder to find of the two, not sure.
I'll have to check out the rest of the team leaders. Any specifics on what I'm looking for?

I have 30 examples of card 160 and 3 have the line.
I googled it and see that it is mentioned on one of those sites that track sales.
I was not a member so I could not see.
I must have busted 20 cases or more back in 86 and until tonite never knew this existed.

Was referring to the line on the back of the team leader cards, not an error.
