compared him to madoff in the trust that people have in others.. blind trust...trust to do the right thing.....for example, how many people trusted gai grading and look what happened to their reputation.. why did their reputation suffer?? was it for a few bucks???? they tarnished a company name for what???? jeff, get my point now??
always looking for 1969 graded basketball

I truly do see your point, and I do appreciate the fact that you would merely question his credibility. More people should practice that in every day life. I admit, calling jivan a moron was a knee-jerk reaction, and I apologize. I would like to blame it on this delicious Great Lakes Christmas Ale. image

Sometimes it just bothers me when people constantly try to discredit BBCE, but this is simply because I have experienced both sides... bad wax on ebay, and good wax from BBCE. I am BBCE exclusive now. I just need to remind myself that not everyone has been through that, and everyone deserves the opportunity to figure it out for themselves.
  • You get that ale in Cleveland? I was up there last week and I got loaded on Dortmunder instead. I never liked specialty ales much, but I'm just an old grouch.

I live outside of Canton, but it's everywhere around here now. Love the stuff! Gotta be careful with it though, because it's 7.5% alcohol by volume. It's like drinking 1-1/2 beers every time. Nummy...

  • << <i>Funny that you mention steve at bbce has a great reputation and would not tarnish it to make a few bucks... never dealt with him so i do not know... Bernard Madoff and others like him had great reputations and why would they tarnish theirs for a few bucks??? jess sayin >>

Madoff was swindling billions. Steve would not tarnish a hard earned reputation for a few hundred or even a couple thousand.

I have probably spent about 15-20k with Steve in the last year or 2 and never had a major issue. The few issues I have had, Steve told me to keep the product and offered me a full refund or store credit. If he does that for just an every day Joe (or Bill), he has my upmost respect and trust.

BTW, love how the OP runs and hides when his true identity is revealed.

I know Steve authenticates the packs as unopened and original. PSA grades them. That's why the flip doesn't says "Baseball card Exchange".
  • Steve, had a rough month or 2 but had a little early Xmas miracle.
