Ebay question - package in la-la land?

So I won two cards that a seller packaged together and at least printed the packing label on 11/13...so far clicking on the tracking number brings up nothing. I emailed the seller to see if he could look into it, but anyone run into this before?

Don't know if that's the exact scenario you mentioned, but maybe someone else has noticed that too.

When I get back from my route I now have to sort the mail I bring back, instead of USPS having a clerk do it. I'm sure my 5 minutes of training time is adequate and I can do the job as well as a clerk with 20+ years experience can.
My wife is a clerk and actually does arrival scans on her lunch break so her customers will have their packages entered into the system.
Finally, I think we should scan all packages as arrived, to avoid a loophole. What's to stop me from printing postage, including insurance, and never shipping the package? USPS could never prove one way or the other if I ever shipped it!
are scanned on acceptance.
Costs a little more, but the buyer pays for it. And, I never
have to worry about my items getting into electronic limbo
before they are delivered.

Yeah - my situation got me thinking about this. I have no reason to believe this seller did anything wrong, but if someone were to do just this, who is on the hook should the package never arrive? Paypal? USPS? The seller? Seems the buyer is the only one covered for sure.
Hoopguru - were they from Amquai on ebay? That's what I am missing.

The seller is on the hook if it is not insured, as long as the buyer used paypal.
The USPS is on the hook if it is insured.

that smells fishy to me...What are those odds? Two members here with the same issue from the same seller....

i have a local post office right near my local coffee shop. I ship 2 days a week, no more, no less. I know all the clerks on a first name basis, i treat them right they keep an eye out for my stuff, they do a GREAT job and they told me that they are cutting hours and shifts, so everyone is working harder. I feel bad for them, because the folks bust their butt and go a darn good job and get no recognition for it. i much prefer to bring the packages in and get everything hand stamped. Makes me feel a bit more secure.
