Value question.

Found a few of these in an old cigar box from an estate sale...Anyone know wholesale value of this 2 cent cancelled?

Two to three cents each in bulk. Maybe as high as 10 cents each if all the stamps have reasonable centering and good color.

If it is in the top quality position then stamp has a current catalog (retail) value of $50.

If it's in really, really good condition and graded, retail value may even go as high as $500.

Also, look for the "broken hat" variety.

There's also a "broken frame line at lower right" variety.

Yeah a really high grade to get that much for a graded 2 center these days.
