Fake 'Steiner' Autos on Ebay.. Edited: Not Fake

I just saw this in another forum, and wanted to bring it here. If it has been previously discussed, my mistake.

This guy on ebay is selling a bunch of signed items, all with fake steiner coa's.

Notice he doesn't show any real close-ups of the Coa's. Also, all his feedback is private,

Real Steiner Certificates have a description of the item that is signed, as well as a barcode to identify the item.

The autographs in the links you provided are real.

As far as the coa's, they might lack the bard code due to being mail in or public signing items, therefore never making into Steiners inventory.

Those are legit autos.

When you go to a public signing with Steiner, they don't have a barcode, they just say "Derek Jeter Autograph".

This is done so they can give COAs out to everyone who pay the extra 10 dollars, but not have a bunch of different COAs (such as Jeter signed 8x10, jeter signed 16x20, jeter signed OMLB, jeter signed world series baseball, etc etc... Also, what about the person who brings in some oddball piece, such as a random card or a homemade item?)

I've been to two public signings-- Joba and Ovechkin, and both times I've received those COAs.

The auto is good, and the COA is spot on for a in person Steiner autograph.

Nothing to worry about here.

In addition, I would like to know what forum you got this from originally, so the record can be set straight there as well.

I'm all for outing shady sellers, but this is 100% not a shady seller.
