There are lots of limitations on what gold can do and how fast it can do it.
There are almost no limitations on silver other than the perception that there's lots of it. If most of the silver simply evaporated overnight this perception would change.
If this scenario really does play out, would it have any impact on currency markets? Would the dollar further tank? If so, it seems to me we'd be in a vicious cycle with each new drop in the dollar/rise in silver feeding further drops/increases.
Kinda scary...I realize silver has appreciated much more than the dollar has lost value, but at some point in the future, won't that be a moot, uh, point?
