What would you rather own?

I have a modern 1990 ASU Collegiate Collection card (cheap card) of Dan Severn pre-UFC days and it is graded a PSA 10, I just had grades pop on the PSA/DNA special and I received a 9 and an authenticated autograph of Mr. Severn.

I'm thinking I would keep the PSA/DNA rookie of Severn in a 9 over a 10. Agree or Disagree???

  • Dan Severn will go down as a pioneer of MMA, the first true wrestler and ground and pound fighter super star. I'd keep both unless those college cards are produced in numbers, then get rid of the PSA 10.
  • I used to love watching Dan The Best Severn during the first few years of the UFC. That guy was S-C-A-R-Y in the ring. Still cant believe Gracie ended up beating him in UFC 1 or 2 or whatever it was, after Severn had been schooling him for most of the match.

I think I watched that live. Was it in 96? I remember he popped Gracie early on and cut him bad, blood everywhere. Gracie eventually got him on the ground and spent about five minutes getting him into position for submission. It was an odd match all the way around. If I remember, the undercard for the fight involved a russian who took a knee to the face and it just exploded. They kept showing the replay and I almost left the room to puke. I don't watch that stuff anymore, there's enough violence in this world without that sanctioned business.
