You know what's a good feeling?

When there is something you want, just for fun/enjoyment, and there are more than 1 of them out there (somewhat common, though not as common in the multi-holder but definitely available at almost anytime depending on price).....
I've been watching the multi-holder proof lincolns for this year. Prices close to $40 and BINs around $36 but most bids are around late $2x-early $3x.
Was patient. Lost a few, but, Sunday, got one for under $24 with free shipping. Already had the singular proof lincoln cents but, wanted the multi-holder for the boy, so, I liked the price I got it at (may lose a few bucks on it over time, but that's ok as he/we will get enjoyment from it).
So, it's a good feeling to see patience rewarded with a lower price (and, the seller was right on top of things with the unit already being sent and on its way...and he has already posted feedback for me...and I will for him as well once I receive the unit...I anticipate 0 issues with this purchase).
That said, I fully understand that patience may not pay off for more unique items.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Sure...they are, literally, nothing special but I have my reasons for wanting it for my son (I think you may remember why for the lincoln stuff)...
....hopefully, this goes without being said, but it isn't my auction (already won mine and it isn't for sale), nor am I attached to the seller (not even sure who it is if he is a forum member or not....just found a couple sellers with them on ebay and ended up with one like this)

The Mint does sell those direct, of course....
Same coins without the third-party packaging.
60 years into this hobby and I'm still working on my Lincoln set!

Yep, that's why I said, in the original post, that I already had them but WANTED the multi-holder for my son. Is that ok?
(I know I paid about $10 more for the holder, but the neat thing about the hobby is that I can do that if I want

Hoard the keys.
I certainly do!
<< <i>It would have cost you more then that if you sent it in. You did good and they may keep better in that holder. I like it I just might do some hunting for one or two.
Agreed, and knowing that, since I didn't rush into it, is why I bought it for my son.
Some folks not only read the OP but also seem to know the costs of items and why some people buy what they want even knowing that others may not do the same thing
Like I said, it may not (or it may) retain its value down the road, but the worst case scenario is a loss of less than $24. Not everyone can say they have limited their downside potential to less than $24, can they?
