New Website

Tuesday morning around 8 am PST we will be upgrading to a new PCGS website. Our website will be down for about an hour as the necessary technical conversion is made.
We don't anticipate any major problems and hope that we can quickly correct all the minor issues as they pop up. Please be patient.
We've designed an all new website that we believe will be easier to navigate, more functional and informative.

I sure hope so Don. The last time PCGS made a change, navigation was nearly impossible. To this day I still have to locate old forum thread to find pages I know exist but simply cannot find from the home page.
The collector's Club Special comes to mind.

The registery is in need of a lot of help though.
I'll be back tomorrow to see what is old by then.
I did not have to login again which means it kept my login active.
Or something along those lines.

<< <i>Hope it works out better than it did for Heritage. At least they have left the old look accessible, so I can still use their site. >>
I'll second that!

Cashback from Mr. Rebates
a new and improved can of coffee, actually contains
fewer ounces of the coffee itself. The loss of the up
to date pricing list is certainly a decision that the
company has a right to do, however, that right does
not necessarily make it right, wise or appropriate. I
will now get my needed information from Heritage. If
PCGS would make a reasonable membership fee and
make all of the services available for that one fee, I
believe that many of us, who are not members, would
pay that fee. In my opinion, a fee of 35 dollars a year
would be reasonable. While I suppose time will tell the
difference between a wise move from a foolish move, I
for one am disappointed . I would also remind the
powers that be, that loyalty is a valuable commodity and
one hard won by any company. When the cost of that loyalty
is to be nickled and dimed to death, then their is a risk, that
the sense of loyalty, may slipaway thru the corporate fingers.
This criticism is sadly, but respectfully submitted, on behalf of
this one Forum Member of many years.
On the positive side, I love the grading chart of pictures. It is the
best that I have ever seen for grading. I like the new colors, and at
least, the uncirculated grade values, are still available to all. A little good
a little bad .

One comment: The pictures on the photograde show only as red Xs.

Very well said Bear. Heritage will benefit greatly from the price guide move by PCGS. My eyes and many others will be focused on other places now more often then here. Sad.....
