read about the black friday discount and just had to take advantage. I am currently assembling 1984 Donruss but I saw the 1979 Topps and couldnt resist also 1981 topps (year I was born) always wanted to get started in this set. Plus 1980 Topps and 84 Fleer not really sure why I bought that but the more the better. Anyways I will be opening all of this and including scans. I am unfamiliar with all of these sets with the exception of 1984 Donruss, so any tips/advice would be appreciated. I will submit all worthy cards to PSA and publish results.

Any tips on how to post pictures it keeps saying file over 50kb????? during the uploading process

Get a photobucket account (free) and host your pics from there. Use the link with the [img] before and after the URL. If you already have an image host, you can list it by clicking on the picture frame button to the right of the "underline" button above your reply screen. Hope that helps!

no chump change on '81 topps,

probably create a nice raw set from that break

havent cracked the 1984 Fleer just yet. The 1979 Topps were great. Mint packs as advertised. The Philly Card Show was this weekend and I was able to sub about 150 cards from the rack box. Nolan Ryan was best card pulled as HOFers go, no Ozzie. But alot of PSA 9 and PSA 10 possibilities. 1984 Donruss was ok alot of possible PSA 10 with I think a slam dunk Ripken, no Mattingly. I was a little dissapointed in !981 Topps until the last box when I pulled Henderson, Ryan, Yaz, Yount, Fingers, Schmidt all with strong PSA 9 possible 10's. I am in the process of figuring out scanning.

how long does it usually take to post a pic. set up photoshop accout and cut and pasted the link onto the upload box on this forum and than clicked upload. seems like it is taking awhile

All you need to do is put the url pointing to the hosted site inside these two bracketed "[ ]" codes "IMG" and "/IMG" or you can just click the picture frame icon at the top the posting screen and put the direct url where your images are located. You cannot post typical html code (ex. img src or href) to post images...

Nice Ripken too. That Rickey has a slight tilt to it. You might have a tough time with that one.
