I just returned from a holiday weekend with the girlfriend's family in East Greenwich, RI.
Had a few hours to kill while she was getting her hair done on Saturday and decided to
pull out my blackberry and see what coin shops were within driving distance.
The closest one was Heritage Coin in West Warwick, RI. Turns out the full name of this place is
Heritage Gun and Coin. Not much to report here! The entire showroom is guns and ammo.
There were a few customers looking at various pieces.
One employee was friendly, though. He asked what I was looking for and after I told him, he said
they don't have any coins out to look out. He also mentioned that he pretty much just buys.
I guess that means he dumps everything he buys somewhere else?
He said someone bought in a few trade dollars the other day and they were all circulated.
He also had a '61 Seated Half which he called AU. I politely said "thanks" and
continued on to the Home Depot.
Just figured I'd post this as a PSA of sorts in case anyone ever searches for this place.
