three new bust halves. What makes these so interesting

The mailman was nice to me today. Always love when I get a package from Dick Osburn and his coins are usually very nice.
These will fit very nice in the set.
The 1817/3 (PCGS VF35)and 1828 were upgrades to my redbook set and the 1821 was a new addition. For the 1817 it is obvious what makes it special.
for the others, unless you are a bust half nut, you may not see. I do wish the 1821 was an 1820.

I like the look of the 1821 best.

great strike on the 1817/3 and don't we all want an 1820 O-107!!
And, fishteeth, nice group of crusty busties you got there. I've bought several nice bust halves from Dick Osburn as well.
You did very nice on all 3. Love the 17/3 and boy do I wish I can find a 1820 0.107 like jdillane said.
And the 1828 Small Letter Reverse is a tough R3 to find in nice original condition, and yours looks great. My 0.119 AU58 happens to be one of my favorites in my CBH set.
Congrats on some really nice newps!!!
