I've got nothing against Boise State, and I give 'em points for originality, but that's one butt-ugly football field.

It's the only blue Astro Turf - Astro Play - field in the world.

It looks nicer in person than it does on TV. It is sparkly.

Too funny man. I was going to make a thread, with the same title, last night while watching the game. The field is way too distracting for me to enjoy any game played on it.

I think it's pretty cool. It really puts Boise friggin State on the map doesn't it?

I refuse to watch any of their home games because of the field, too anoying for me.

I always wondered how many other people felt the same way. Enough to hurt tv ratings i wonder

I think most Boise fans would simply say to you... SCOREBOARD! They have clearly proven they can win ball games... ugly field or not.

I like it but I do agree after awhile (around 3rd/4th quarter) is when it starts getting annoying.

I always wanted to see other teams do it, but on a more low-key level (for example, have yard lines/yard numbers in team colors, but not the field).

Let's see how they do in a real conference, where you get banged up every week. They have won one game against a real opponent, and it was at home. They opened at Georiga in 2005, and Boise was out of it by halftime. Georgia jumped out 31-0 en route to a 48-13 rout.
