I love Franklin that have that GEM+ appeal with orange peel silvery surfaces and light, smooth luster. I'm going to keep this one as it turned out pretty well and I think I read the Teletrade photos accurately when I placed my bid.

That is pretty! nice coin, certainly mark free, adequately lusterous, and great color. Hows the strike? I'm seeing almost no bell lines in teletrade and your pics both.

Thanks guys. The strike is average. Some bell lines, but no where near needed for FBLs, of course.

Very attractive '53.

Nice pickup.

For those mentioning about the strike, 1953-P's are definitely one of the tougher date/mm to find with FBL. Even with PCGS's rather easy FBL designation (e.g. only the lower set of bell lines), they are one of only 13 date/mm (out of 35) where there are more coins WITHOUT the FBL designation than with it.

Yes, that, and I'm not that into Franklins. It is a great series with much diversity, but just isn't my cup of tea.
