  • Their next game is against the Giants, that should be a good one.

Throughout history that is pretty much where they belong and stay. When someone else is there....it's just not right!!!

I'm not too excited. While I want them to do well and actually win a playoff game this year, I'm not holding my breath.

Of course, being thought by many "experts" and non experts, to battle out the Skins for last place in the East while the Eagles or the Midgets were supposed to run away with the division and win the SB is pretty cool image

Lawnmowerman, your right, it is nice to be doing better than everyone said you would. I really think they have a good team. The defense is playing better and the wide outs are making great plays.

    The keys are still:

    1) Romo not forcing passes into double coverage that cause pics.

    2) Phillips not making bonehead decisions.
  • Their remaining 5 games are as follows

Sun, Dec 6 @ New York Giants
    Sun, Dec 13 SAN DIEGO
Sat, Dec 19 @ New Orleans
    Sun, Dec 27 @ Washington
    Sun, Jan 3 PHILADELPHIA

At 8-3 does 2-3 in those remaining games games get us in the playoffs ?

I'll be in Dallas for that last game vs Philly , would be nice if it mean't something

  • The Cowboys have a tendency to collapse in the final month of the season, they need to get that
monkey off their back and maybe they can do something in the playoffs.
  • Dave-

You beat me to the punch regarding our remaining schedule. I too think that we are staring at a 10-6 finish- it would be pretty incredible to pull a 3-2 from these last 5 games....

Here's hoping we can avoid the December swoon that has enveloped this team for the last few years!

Has a team ever started out 8-3 and finished 9-7?

For at least the second year in a row, Dallas plays the toughest part of their schedule in December. I think it's the quality of opponents, not so much the time of year.

Ha....Eagles now only a game back, and the Cowboys should be ready to go into their December swoon as they usually do.

Yea, the Eagles need to pull an "Elaine Benes" and find a Super Bowl recipe in a drawer somewhere. LOL
