My first pictures ever

I'm not a photographer at all. But my wife left her camera sitting next to the computer, so I figured why not? A couple of new purchases from the Bay State show. Not the best pictures, but they're not completely repulsive either:

That said, nice start. Work on the basics -- focus, stability, exposure (pics are a little too dark), white balance (a simple setting), and lighting.
