I'm a huge fan of the '02 version, but after seeing some of the initial pulls I'm not sure about this one. I don't like the washed-out 'photos' at all. That said, there's a chance I'll do Dodger sets, complete with most of the mini variations. There were a couple of box breaks over on FCB, with some pretty nice results. One guy busted 7 boxes - here are scans of the highlights. You can see what I'm talking about with the photos.

The pictures remind me a little of Bowman Heritage in 2006 (I think that's the right year). Those looked a little washed too.

say, if you (or anyone else) has any extra minis from 2002 version, i'm very interested.

sent Topps a nasty gram yesterday about their lack of ability to fulfill redemptions. Specifically mentioning the Ryan Braun in this set that was live while they still haven't filled the A&G from 4-5 months ago

here's the response:

Thank you for your inquiry concerning our current redemption program.

Ryan Braun has just signed all of his 2009 Allen Ginter Redemption cards

The above update was posted to our Topps Twitter page. Assuming both of these autos were released at the same time, the redemption processing and shipment time may have delay the Allen & Ginter items beyond the release of the T206 product. The Allen & Ginter cards may have been signed only on card as well, and if the T206 cards were sticker autos they may have been from a previous batch. We apologize for the delay and your item should arrive soon.

I just ripped 7 boxes and got 16 hits - 2 auto redemptions (beckham, david wright), 9 mini framed autos (masterson,granderson,schlereth,Volstad,Perkins, evans, mazzaro, Vanevery,zimmerman), 3 game-used (Hid.matsui, myoung, markakis), and a hornsby silk, and babe ruth old mill bat relic.

Now that is a nice break.

I'm just building the mini set (any back combo) so everything else is available if interested.

I need a bunch of minis and if you need any i have extras too.
