I messed up I guess, any suggestions from here?

I won a coin on Teletrade for $125. I paid with Paypal. they shipped. I was at work. I got a brown ticket in the mail box notifying me of delivery and requesting my further instructions. I signed off the ticket totally in several places and directed re-delivery into my mail box. I live in a nice neighborhood, and I am confident random people and neighbors don't fact find my mail box. I trust my letter carrier too. But it has been a week now. I got the brown ticket last Thurs and put it in the mail box early Fri morning. Sat, Mon, Tues no coin. yesterday (tues) I left a hand written note for the letter carrier reminding him I am waiting for the delivery. Will my coin magically appear in my mail box? If not, Friday after Thanksgiving I can go to the post office and stand in line -- what will I say? I signed off the ticket. Am I just out a coin?

The worst that should happen is a return to sender undelivered. Talk to the Post master if you don't get it MONDAY.

I'll bet the package is still at the PO and they lost the ticket.
I would go today and ask for it. No need to wait.

The purpose of all that "signing" business is to confirm receipt and delivery. Most probably Idhair is correct, but if he is not you are just plain out of luck. Go to the Post Office today.
