What do think of this deal on a 1968 PSA 9 Mays?

I have been looking for a nice 1968 PSA 9 Willie Mays for my set registry for awhile. This one was tempting a few weeks ago with a BIN of $600. But I resisted. It didn't sell and was relisted at $575. Then along came the 10% off eBay coupon and double eBay Bucks. So I pulled the trigger and bouight it! $575.00 - $57.50 = $517.50. Getting $23 in eBay Bucks on top of it. The SMR is $650 so I think a got a deal on a nicely centered PSA 9 1968 Mays Topps #50. The only thing that has been concerning me lately is I have noticed the value of some 1960's HOF cards in PSA 9 sliding a little bit compared to SMR. Anyway, what do you think? A Deal or No Deal?

Yep, it's a good deal. Centered 9's will bring around $580. The last two sold for around $450 but they had weak t/b centering and poor eye appeal (for 9's).

I don't think it's a bad deal. I don't think buying HOF'ers in PSA 9's at decent prices is ever a bad deal.

I had my eye on the card but didn't pull the trigger because I already have one. The one you bought is a nice one. I think you got a good deal.
