Unfortunately with the holiday's approaching, I can't justify a couple of grand right now. I have to wonder though if I will ever find another one with the Anacs Photo Certificate.

It's nearly Christmas. Buy yourself a Christmas present.
  • That could very well be the holy grail of ANACS photo certificates.

I agree. That's gotta be pretty dang rare! Here's what you do...
Get up in the middle of the night and blast off a shotgun round.
Tell the kids you heard a noise in the middle of the night, you thought it was a burglar and that Santa won't be coming back this year.

Sell a few of your common examples and replace them as soon as you have the cash

Interesting that it is registered to John Gulde, a well known dealer still in the business. He is a first class guy!

Saw that one yesterday and thought of you...

I understand the trepidation over the price!

I guess it depends on how serious you are about your collection. You could sell off a few of the more common items that you can eventually replace to raise enough money to purchase this rarity, just a thought!

Yikes...I am not sure when you will see one again. Can you afford to let it go? And no, I'm not the seller.

Can you buy just the certificate? I picked up a few of teh old First Coinvestors certificates from a seller who had the coins priced at quadruple retail. Maybe the seller will sell you the certificate if you pay to the coin slabbed by ANACS? It could be worth a try. Good luck.
