I was bidding on both of those. I simply couldnt bring myself to go higher on the 1911 but it is an amazing coin. The 1909-s is also a nice coin. Congrats on both.

One thing I always keep in mind when purchasing coins. It doesnt matter what you pay, it only matters that you enjoy what you collect. No matter what the market or value of a coin on paper the nice coins will ALWAYS sell for more and will always command premiums. I would have gone higher on the 1911 but I just happend to buy a matte proof lincoln for my set the previous day and I try to limit myself
