Reale guys: For my sanity

And for Hyperion's. Wasn't there a short-lived, maybe 1 or 2 year, 18th or 19th century 8 reale whose entire obverse (or reverse) was a 3 letter monogram? Help a brother out.

The only 8R that comes to mind is the War of Independence coinage struck under Morelos, 1811 to 1814. One side has a large M style monogram, but it doesn't take up the whole side.
The only reale dominated coin with a dominating monogram that comes to mind is the cob type 1/2 reale.

coinnerd, what year is that 1/2 reale? That may be the one I'm thinking of.
