2009 -P Dollar

The 2009 -P Sac Dollar coin. How many of you have seen one? If so, what does the rim look like in terms of the boldness of EPLURIBUS UNUM, 2009 P as these are so weak I can hardly see them with a 15x loupe. Is that the norm for these? I have a 2007 John Adams and the difference in the boldness of what appears on the rim is the difference between night and day...

While I am quite sure someone will comment that I am blind, but that is not the case.

Is there a weak rim or even a no motto rim variety for this? I can't imagine I am the only one who noticed this...

Thanks for the comments

The ones I've seen have weaker edge lettering that the Presidential dollars, but not so much as to require a loupe.

Let me try and put this in perspective... I can not see anything with a naked eye

The answer is probably no, but is yours circulated? I have one in about XF and in that condition, it is indeed hard to make out anything. But on my uncirculated examples, it's there.

I think the inscriptions are so weak because, in these tough economic times, many people have again started "shaving" the edges of the coins for the gold!!image

Time to combat this outrage by reeding the edges!!image
