I used the converter and came up with $1,816 worth of 14kt. Au @$1139 spot X's 3oz.. Is that right?

My calculator says: 14/24 = .417 X 1139 X 3 = $1,993.25

Both of you are correct ... it all depended if you used the ... troy oz or oz ... formula... however since scrap is bought & sold by pennyweigths (dwt) .. neither formula would be used.
