    There were various reasons.
    In some, people just got upset when some of their friends were banned, so they left.
    In others, people got in huffs when the Open Forum was removed (after repeated warnings that folks should be more cordial than they were or else.....well, a small group of folks either didn't care or didn't believe the "or else" would happen, and it did). When it was removed, a small number of folks decided to post publicly, and not nicely.

    Folks were told that to say anything against PCGS, publicly, or do certain posts, would result in their banning. Some decided to post pictures that were not allowed, some decided to make certain inflammatory postings and were removed...along with their posts.

    Others got, somewhat innocently imho, caught in this storm of bannings when they made statements like "I don't believe in slabs/plastic, so they may as well ban me too!"....and they were banned.
    I felt sorry for those folks.

    The ones that decided to circumvent the profanity censor, or post forbidden pictures.....well, they were all adults and knew what they were doing.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Conder wasn't a self bammer but was actually bammed.

    I'd like to see him back so we can get some updates on the Slab Histories threads!
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    It would be nice to have an asset like Conder come back. Untill then he can be found ATS for slab info.

    Yes, but I believe it was the banning of Conder and Coinguy1 that led to the self-bamming Exodus of December 2006. Although many OF forumites voluntarily left or got banned for different reasons around the same time frame.

    Also I loved whenever he said he was clueless what a coin graded as he couldn't grade below MS69 image

    I would as well. I'll be reading a thread here at times and wish he would post.
    I make it a point to read most everything he post ATS and learn something every time.
