I am considering going to the Bay State Show in Boston on Saturday. Never have been before. I hope someone here can help me out with information concerning parking near the show. Is safe and affordable (less than $20) parking available nearby? Thanks in advance.

The Radisson garage is attached to the hotel, is reasonably safe and is $12 a day if I remember right.

I just checked last year's expense file and it was $18 a day. Sorry.

I can confirm that the Radisson Hotel parking is just $18 for the entire day. On one or two occasions over the past several years I have found the hotel parking lot to be full (there will be a sign at the street entrance informing you if that is the case). Should that happen, there is another parking garage across the street, so there should be ample parking in the area.

Be aware if you do park in the Radisson Hotel parking: the coin show is on floor 6 (if I remember correctly), but that floor cannot be accessed from the parking garage elevator. You must take the parking garage elevator down to the hotel lobby, exit the elevator, and get on a different elevator back up to the sixth floor for the coin show. This is a security measure, but also a PITA.

And after the show, Legal Seafood is directly across the street - one of the best restaurants in the area.

The show in the Radisson is also set up like a maze for a rat and the ceilings are remarkably low and covered in stucco.

Well, luckily for you, CRO says, "I want to overpay for your rare / high grade colonials"

If you bring a $5 colonial, they'll probably overpay up to $6
