Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Congrats!

You have an exceptionally nice set. I love the '75, myself. I like down-the-bat cards, especially from guys who really know how to do damage with the bat.
Two things to mention: the only man I ever saw try to call time out (even making the "T" gesture with his hands) when he knew he was about to slide into second too late. A staple of blooper films for years. He always played hard but he always seemed to remember that it was, in the end, a game.
Secondly, I know he was a Buc through and through, but he accompanied Mr. Tanner to Atlanta and stayed in the organization after Chuck was fired as an instructor at several levels. Had a major influence on several 90's era Braves. David Justice always spoke highly of him and it was Willie who walked up to the very young Chipper Jones, handed him a bat much heavier than any he had ever used. said "Here...use this." then turned and walked off without another word.
