Numismatic/Gold Bullion

My neighbors brother just left here moments ago.

He has 45+ Double eagle Libs. (all type 2 common date)
They are in Investment Rarities flips and bought some time ago.

Most of them look like XF's with a few AU/BU pieces.

His Sister-in-Law has some claim to the coins. He wants to come up with a fair figure
to pay her for her share.

Can anyone give me/him an idea of the price range of material like that?

I know that type of material (at least right now) commands a numismatic premium.
I just don't how much.

Why pay her cash? Just determine how many coins he should give her, and let her shop them around.

I didn't ask his reason(s), but from talking to him, he also is of the gold going to the moon belief.
So, I would imagine that he would rather have the coins than his fiat paper .

On another note...Earlier in the day I was browsing through the article on 1 dollar gold in the latest Numismatist and, Lo and
behold he shows me a dozen of these that are part of his personal collection.

I looked at a couple of them through a magnifier and they looked outstanding.

I don't have any experience grading these but I can tell an outstanding coin when I see it.
