Pedigree Modern Mint and Proof Sets

I asked this question earlier on the forum, here's the response I received from PCGS:

Hi Larry,

Unfortunately, PCGS does not pedigree the Modern Mint and Proof sets (1965-present) or Low Ball sets. This information is found on the “benefits” page of the registry.

Thank you,

This must be a newer policy since the following eBay auction has a pedigreed modern proof coin:

Michael Fuller Collection

Comments

  • They pedigree proof and mint state coins just not proof or mint sets
  • Might have been part of a quarter set that started before 1965.

I was very specific in my question to PCGS. I asked if they would pedigree and reholder all 17 coins for each year. There policy is NO modern proof or mint sets (coins).

Michael Fuller had some of the top sets of quarters at one time. I just found a date set that is retired and still in the top five.
It's still ahead of mine in fact.
