Morgan $ Question

I can't find this 1886 as having an listed VAM for the reverse "bar" below "IN". Any information is appreciated. Lots of personality, toning, die cracks...this coin has it all!

That is a pretty nice morgan. Like Blu62vette and Dennis have stated or listed, it is a VAM 1G. It however is not apart of the Top 100 or the Hot 50 lists. I think that the R-5 rating is a little generous considering I have seen a fair amount of them. I know the VAM 1G sometimes gets confused as the VAM 1C, which is on the Hot 50 list. You did make a nice find, and I am thinking that you have a strong 64 with NT as long as there are not any hairline scratches on the obverse.
