Very good lunch today

7 Jaguars happened to be in Houston today so got a chance to meet with him over lunch, he is a gentleman, and very knowledgable on British coins. Much advanced over my limited knowledge I must say. Since the wife was not there to annoy me about my eating habits I also got to enjoy one of the Grand Lux Cafes excellent hamburgers.

Reads as if you had a great time and 7 Jaguars knows Coins of England...

It's always nice to get together with a fellow collector -- especially (as Coinkat has noted) when it is with an individual who is so extraordinarily knowledgeable on the subject of British coins.

Ah yes, back now at home but I too had a good time of it as I was in Houston for rather sad functions (won't go there with the outrageous custody battle that is looming over my baby boy). Very nice to have a pleasant numismatic break as it were. JCM has that spark in his eye that you see with a true collector & hope I can hold. Very much the gentleman as well, next time will bring some coins to show & tell. Thanks again!
