If the old PCGS Price Guide isn't updated anymore..

why does it continue to show price changes? I figured after CoinFacts was implemented the old price guide would seize to exist but it still remains and has daily price changes..image

Why the pop-up saying to subscribe to CoinFacts and saying the old guide is no longer updated? The pop-up comes and goes for me, I haven't seen it in a little while though.

I get the pop up when I click on the coin number to get more detailed info. That's when, for me at least, the Coin Facts ad pops.

PCGS will be getting more money out of me again this month (renewal fees).
I need a tour guide not a price guide.

Don't mean to bash but I have had a hard time with using the prices in the price guide to try to win any coins recently. If I bid at the price guide info I lose. And if I price my coins for sale at the price guide they don't sell.

Coin facts and price guide are two different things. Lot of people access the old coin facts (which is not updated any longer) by clicking on the price guide's coin number. The pop up is to let you know there is a new way to get updated coin info.

The above is the most important information and answer in this thread. Thanks. Steveimage

You must be buying a hot series. Remember the price guide follows prices, it doesn't lead them, and it isn't always right. --Jerry

The price guide is still updated, what is not updated is the information for that specific coin on this page. The old info is still
available through the price guide page but anything new ia only available through Coinfacts. I think, well anyway hope this helps.

  • Thanks for the info guys - Yeah I feel reaally dumb and embarrassed. I never realized the price guide and the specific coin information are hosted on two different websites imageimage
