    It looks as if it was polished or buffed out.

    They look very much like die polish to me in hand but they came out looking a little like hairlines in the photos.

    Looks like it was freshly minted and, hence, unnatural to me. I see nothing that would indicte that it is a counterfeit though.

    Looks cleaned, you should weigh the coin and if it weighs right on, then I would say good!

    guys it was cleaned, look at the abrasions on her outstretched arm, there are hairlines on there which should not be there if it was a die polish.

    Authentic? Yes, it's a real Trade Dollar. Looks like it was polished.....Miss Liberty's face should not be that shiney!
