A Question for Panda Colletors

In 1991 for my daughters 10th birthday I got her what I was told was a 1 ounce silver Chinese Panda. The coin recently came out of
some of her stored keepsakes. (Recently married and moving her stuff out). Seeing it now it is not an official Panda that I recognize, but what
is it. Just a generic round or is it an official minting of some kind?

Here is the China Mint 1991 silver Panda issue. The difference between proof and rhe regular issue is that the regular issue does not have the circled P:

  • It is just a generic round, and from the frequency I see it I assume it's American made. Definitely not a PRC government issue.
