Just about everything in that auction went for well over bid and I had to pay about $50 more than I
wanted to but I really like it.
Switzerland. Medal, 1886. Silver. 43.2 mm. By Hugues Bovy SC. Fifth centenary of the Battle of Sempach. Beautifully toned. Uncirculated.
Estimated Value $100 - 150.

I tried to win a few lots from that auction only to come up pitifully short on what I thought were strong bids,
NO-NO-NO!!!!!
Gorgeous piece. Those Swiss National shooters are beautiful sculptures.
I really wanted the PL 67 dollar and a couple of the others. The dollar, by the way, had been crossed into a NGC
holder (idiot) and I got an assurance from Goldberg's that if it didn't cross back with PCGS (still had the cert number)
they would refund.
Anyway, it was an academic exercise since the danged thing went for nearly $2,000 more than I was about to pay for it

You have a great eye for coins.
