finishe looking at my $500 of halves today.

I just got done looking through $500 in half dollars I got at a bank the other day. Not much to report but I did get 1-1962-D Franklin which looks like an MS-63, 1-1964-d Kennedy in ch au and 1-1967 Kennedy in au so not much but I still get a rush whenever I find Silver for face value.image

    I went through another box Monday and found 1-1967. The week before that, I found 5 silver kennedies.

    It all adds up!

    I just love opening a roll, setting them on their side and seeing white, what a rush!!!
    Still looking for my first Barber or seated half, probably gonna be a long wait.

    You done good, i haven't had much luck with boxes as many times i wind up with a full box of 2000 or 2001 halves.image

    I tried this with 2500 worth about 6 months ago. I pulled 1 40% and 2 clipped planchets. My bank looked at me like I was insane when I ordered them. Then I had to use a friends account at another bank to turn them. Really wasn't worth it to me.

    I am tormented by the guys who do it and find 10 or 20 90% so I know it works though.
