The best Seated Dollar Type Piece

Going to Baltimore and this is my coin to look for. What do you believe is the best to get?
Thinking of a CC here for Type II and 1846-0 for Type I

Thanks

  • What grades are you looking at? The answer is purely dependant on grades/the amount you have to spend.

You will pay dearly for a nice CC Seated Dollar. 1870-CC is the least expensive.

If you are seeking a cost-effective high grade example in AU-58 to MS-62 then you may wish to consider either the 1860-O or the 1859-O which are more readily available since a few bags of them were found years ago.

But most likely the most-overpriced imho.
