Quick Baltimore Show Report

I arrived at the show this morning right when they started to let dealers in. I headed over to my table and threw some stuff in the cases and headed to the floor to buy. I started at one end and began to work my way to the other. There were so many dealers running around like chickens with their heads cut off asking for gold-- everywhere I turned and numbers were flying.
It looked like several of the same dealers with the same old over priced inventory asking the same numbers as the last 5 shows I've attended. I walked the entire floor and checked every case and managed to only find about 10 coins. I decided to start the hunt for a nice 1909-S vdb and a nice 1955 Doubled die (both toned), there doesn't seem to be any at this show-- at least that I have seen. General public attendance seemed average and I had a few nice sales towards the end of the day. I did manage to spot Laura from Legend sitting on the stairs talking on the phone, maybe she was getting that show report ready. I stopped by late in the day and said hello to Charmy (The Penny Lady) but have yet to see any other forum members although I did hear that WTCG stopped by the table while I was away.
Stop by and say hello if you're at the show, I'll be at table 1655.

Hope you have a good show and good luck finding some nice coins, hopefully you have better luck than i have lately!
Wish I could make it and I've had some AWESOME offers to display the dollars for the show with some LSCC guys but unfortunately I have prior arrangements. Have fun everyone who is attending!
Then Rick and I attended the B&M auction where I ended up buying a few more coins, and watched some of my coins that were up for auction sell as well. It is always fun participating in an auction, especially watching a few people who REALLY want one particular coin.
Any way, if any more forum members make it to the show, please stop by and say hi - more later!

I will stop by in the morning and look closer at some of your coins, from what I saw while I was there it looks like you have numerous nice examples and hopefully you can fill some holes in my set. Look forward to pawing over your copper
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Then we went to Moe's for dinner and had their famous crabcakes - ummmmmmm! So far, it's been a great show, really! And tomorrow should be even better!
