Impaled eagle VAM 1-2 R-5 1887 Morgan dollar
I have owned this Morgan for quite some time now and just recently I checked it for a VAM and I've noticed it's a VAM 1-2 R-5. Now an R-5 is labeled as rare, but how does this affected the price of the coin? Can Anybody shed some light on this question? This is a 1887 Morgan Dollar Battlecreek MS-65, VAM Impailed Eagle Gouge. Thank you for your time....Joe

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

<< <i>Where is the VAM price guide? >>
The VAm price guide is distributed to SSDC members along with other VAM info. For 20 bucks a year it is a great deal.
Here is a link to the application app
and the SSDC homepage SSDC
