My guess is because the Mets had much better players then these other clubs, that the Mets led the league in total suckage.

Boston shriveled-up and died when it counted in the second half in the season (bowing-out to the New York Yankees, yet again!) and then in the playoffs, blowing-it in the first round to the Angels.

History will show them as nothing more than a footnote in 2009 and another disappointing Red Sox finish, to a much superior Yankees team.

Yes the Mets faded, but so did the Red Sox. They turned what looked like a promising season into a "not so special" playoffs, like sooooooooooooooooooooo many Boston teams over the past 90 years.

Did they suck? Nah, Boston just played like cr@p when it counted, as usual!

P.S. Heck, my Florida Marlins won 2 World Series in just a few years (not 90 years like Boston! LOL!!). In fact, without the Marlins' Josh Beckett & Mike Lowell, IMO, Boston wouldn't have two World Series under their belt anyway. (Could Boston have "won it all" without Florida's Lowell & Beckett? I think very doubtful! Plus infielder, Gonzales from Florida, also helped Boston win too!)

Screw it! Boston sucks!
