    Works for me
The PCGS VF-25 on eBay went for $1500.

it is always important to evaluate the coin in hand. That being said, Brian Greer has a raw VF20 for $695 LINK

I see... though, I'm sort of suspicious of raw coins over $500 ..aren't you?

I have purchased raw coins from Brian Greer over $500 on at least a half dozen occasions, likely more times than that. No disappointments yet. I've returned one raw coin to Brian, but that was an issue with the attribution of the coin, not his grade.

When he gets back from Baltimore, give him a call and he will describe the coin for you and let you know if it has problems that may keep it out of a slab.

I agree, you rarely can wrong with Brian! He did have two PCGS 1811 dimes a few month ago, one was a VF20 and the other was a VF25. They were priced around 1,000-1100 each.

I'd like to hear 1 or 2 more opinions about the price of a VF20
