Question about the basic and collector issues sets

Hi there. I am looking at starting a few basic and collector issue sets. I have a question about the set composition though. The two players that I want to collect (Lemieux and Roy) played during the same time and I see one set with cards that the other doesn't have. For example both players have an 1988 Topps sticker. The Patrick Roy set has it already, but the Lemieux does not. So my question is what qualifies for a basic and collectors set? Could the 1988 sticker be added to the Lemieux set? Thanks for any help.

A lot of the set composites on the registry are a work in progress and additional cards will frequently be added to the composite. I'm not familiar with either set you are talking about, but in general, as long as the card meets the definition of the set type, it can be added. I would guess that the 1988 sticker would not qualify for the Lemieux basic set but it would qualify for his other sets and you could ask PSA to add it to the composite.

Shoot an email to Cosetta and she'll get it added eventually.
