Phillies will be back

I liked the Phillies players and team management reaction today...basically ticked off...not just happy to have been there against the Yankees, but hissed that the result didn't go differently and that they should have beat this Yankees team.

I'm not taking away anything from the Yankees who had a heckuva season, but the Phillies will be back...and anyone who thinks the Phillies are gonna go away, are badly mistaken.

So Yankees fans enjoy this while ya can, deservedly so...but watch out...something is gaining on you, despite your wild rampant spending, and it's the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

The Phillies are gonna be back, improved, and better than ever...ready to reclaim the title of world champions.

    It will be interesting to see how the Yankees players respond next season, after a winter of fame and fortune. I say they won't even win the AL East next season.

    What do you mean nobody cares? I care (about baseball, not the Phillies). I'll watch the Super Bore, and the NCAA basketball tournament. Other than that there are no sports for me until spring training. My TV is programmed to explode if it stops on an NBA or NHL game.

    I'll probably watch the BCS championship game if there is no Big 10 team in it. I hate the sight of blood.

    The Phillies got beat just as they should have. The Yankees easily were the better team.
    The Phillies starting pitching next year is iffy at best. Look for a new NL East champ.

    Speaking of which, please give my Cubbies some love. It has been 109 years and I am about to give up.

    I agree with that, and I've stated that point in a number of posts ...my comment "that they should have beat this Yankees team" was paraphrasing what some players were saying.
