    Phillies and Utley made us all sweat 'til the last moment. Even Victorino put up one hell of a final at bat.

    Going through an AL nemesis and the tough defending champs...major accomplishment.

    Congrats indeed,

    The NY Yankees continue the recent dominance of the AL in the WS winners, WS sweeps, and the AS games.

    A note, some may have forgot about.
    Early in the 2009 season the Yanks were 13-15, playing mediocre ball. The entire team seemed to gel and come around upon Arod's return to the lineup.
    Alex had a fine post season as well.
