    no listing in Rulau's "Latin American Tokens" but there was one pictured that was same shape token and the script was in the same font.......the one shown in the book was for VALEUANA CARGADE LENA (worth one load of firewood)

    one word of caution: Rulau listed this token as a fantasy piece so there is a good chance your's is as well since they seem to be from the same issuer

    I was just in the old Eden Mine in Zacatecas this past September. Its very close to downtown.

    It is no longer a working mine, but you can still tour it. There are still small veins of silver and quartz visible in the walls.

    Interestingly, on Friday and Saturday night, there is a disco open to the public in a large "room" of the mine. I did not go back in the evening to attend....

    Sorry, I cannot add any information on the token!
