Set Registry's only Temporary?

I recently retired almost all of my registry sets accept my 50-58 Proof set.
I have been off line for a while and decided to check the retired sets to see
if they were still on the site. Almost all of the sets have been removed
from the registry accept my Red White and Blue set that was my favorite set,
as it was my fun set. I worked very hard to get many of the Variety coins
for the major sets and now find them removed from the registry. When I
retired them I retired the whole sets not just individual coins. I've decided
to liquidate the coins as financially I have problems that have come up. The
major portion of the coins are being sold on Teletrade November 8, 2009 on
Auction # 2768. I still have some of the MS-66 Red lincolns from 1942 to 1958,
with the exception of the Philadelphia key dates in that grade. If anyone is
interested in any of these coins please let me know, and I'll get back in touch
with you. I just can't understand why ,
the powers that be would remove a set without contacting the set registry
participant and letting him know that it was being done. It is not the first
problem that I've had with the registries. Sometimes gone a long time I'd check
and find a coin or two removed from the set and had to go back in to make sure
that the coin was readded to the set. Maybe it is a way that they want to be
sure that we are still watching them to make sure that all is OK at the home
front with the registry. Maybe they should outsource the registry to an outside
company so they have NO real interest in taking care of it if they can't do it
right! JUST my humble opinion on this subject. Thanks for all the memories,
and all your friendships that I've made over the years. Mike Long.

The name is LEE!
You don't consider Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson etc to be real American heroes?
GrandAm
were that High but not all the Variety sets.
Trade Dollar Nut, my REAL American HERO's are for people that made a real difference
outside of Government officials not that these presidents didn't make a real difference,
just that it would be nice to see someone on an American coin other than a President
that would circulate and draw hopefully many more collectors into the Hobby. Just a
thought, my favorite American, would be my HERO, Mr. Bob Hope. For all that he had done
to boost the American fighting Men and women morale during War time. I saw him when
I was in Thailand during the Vietnam war and he brought much joy and happiness to all of
the men and women who were there. Just a nice change instead of the old Drab coins that
have been in ciriculation for way to many years.
Mike.
