Local coin show report and purchase

Had a few minutes in between errands today, so I stopped by the local coin show (Urbana Illinois). I think it was about 40 dealers. Business appeared to be slow except for the one guy known specifically for bullion, and his business was *brisk*. Selling primarily. This is a small town show and people were loading up on bullion. I got to the table just in time to see a guy buy 8 or 10 odd-weight, odd shaped silver bars (at very little over spot). They probably weren't anything super rare, but I wish I'd had a chance to see them closely before he put them in his pouch. Mostly ice-cube sized and shaped but rectilinear sides rather than angled. And a couple of those twix-bar, finger-like bars. Guy after him bought 500 G-VG peace & morgan dollars, and the guy after him walked out with several hundred 1-oz silver rounds.

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.
