Phheewww.WV Sutler auction.

I have a little collection of CWT's from WV and thought this would make a nice addtion, but over 3K ! wow.

    sutlers followed civil war regiments around during the war and issued some credit. They sold dry goods, supplies, etc. to the troops.

    WV becoming a state in 1863 limited the number of sutlers here I guess.

    There are three types of CWT's

    Patriotics
    Storecards
    Sutler tokens.

    I didn't win this one by the way, but maybe I can snag some of the goodies coming up in the Stacks Auction.
